Safe Forklift Operation for General Industry training is designed to identify forklift regulations and resources governing safe forklift operations, as well as identify the types of forklift classes and common parts. Specific course topics include the following:

- Load handling rules and regulations
- Charging and fueling
- Maintenance, service, and repairs
- Employer-certified training program vs. refresher training
